  • Commissioned color photographs of club life in 2022, presented in juxtaposition with a collection of B&W Alfred Eisenstaedt prints of club life in 1940.

Teaching Experience

My experience teaching science (biology, chemistry, environmental science) at Dwight-Englewood School for 6 years informs my instruction of educational design of photographic principles. Additionally, I mentor other photographers in local Telegram chats and in-person photography walks.

Photography Teacher — Dwight-Englewood 360 Summer Connections; Young Visionaries: Digital Media Immersives Program

  • Taught first-principles photography using iPad technology to middle school students over a 2-week short course: perspective, compositional techniques, digital editing.
  • Culminated in students presenting their three most emotionally impactful photographs in a camp group art exhibition.

Assorted Photographic Educational Workshops — Dwight-Englewood School

  • Delivered hour lecture: Photography as Respite on using photography to process emotions; Dwight-Englewood Connections Series on Wellness; February 24th, 2021.
  • Led an hour workshop for secondary seniors on the basics of nature photography in 2019 and 2020, and a dual workshop on street + wildlife photography, 2022.
